Isabel was born at Melbourne Australia. Her father and mother were both Swiss. Her family spent time in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru an Australian mining town as well as Cairns Australia. Together with the help of her younger sister Nina they went to schools that included children of all races and ethnicities. Isabel currently lives with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been active in drama since her school days. She went on to study acting in the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and more recently studied in the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method). In the years prior to 2002, she hadn't auditioned. She appeared on Home and Away from 1988. They thought that she was not suitable for the role. But, they were impressed with her performance and gave Tasha an entirely new character. In the following three years, she played her first TV role and was awarded an Logie Award. In 2008, Isabel was moved from New York to Los Angeles. Her first big role came in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). In the time since her debut, she's appeared and received awards for her work in numerous US films as and Australian films. In recent times, Isabel was a part of the award-winning Bosh & Rockit (Ocean Boy) the film which quickly becoming an Australian classic and in the soon to be released film Lunacy. Isabel recently finished Sons of Summer. She is currently in the pre-production phase for her role as Marie Curie with award winning director and writer Annika Glas.
